Total Biz Review: Pixie Lott "Turn It Up (Louder)

TURN IT UP (LOUDER) is the latest offering from Miss Pixie Lott as she returns with a re-release of her smash hit debut album as a deluxe version that boasts 10 bonus tracks.
Lott polishes up her mainstream credentials with new single Broken Arrow and a duet with man of the moment Jason Derulo.
All the hits are here, Mama Do, Cry Me out, Turn It Up and the fantastic Gravity. This album showcases Pixies maturity in her 19 years, and brings sultry pop to the charts.
Kings of Leon classic Use Somebody is covered on this album, it was featured on the debut single as a B-side, she delivers this song acoustically and puts her strong vocal range to good use!
But her cover of the David Guetta and Kelly Rowland track When Love Takes Over is pretty tepid, this hit is still fairly recent I think it was too soon to cover such a great dance song.
Highlights of the new tracks have to be Without You and Want You. My favourite track is the last one on this album and I predict a potential Christmas hit with Catching Snowflakes.
Daniel Bedingfield penned Can’t Make This Over is a ballad that does little to grab your attention but is well worth a listen.
Overall there is enough decent new songs to make this worth releasing but still makes me question the intent. Why not record a couple more tunes and release a brand new album completely? Still a very good offering from the unstoppable Pixie Lott.

**I cant stop listening to Catching Snowflakes!!
